In late September 2024, we headed to Athens, Ohio to ride the www.windy9.com. Leaving from Orlando, Florida, it took 2 days and a 1000 miles to reach our rental cabin. The weather was a blend of rain and clouds for the first few days, thanks to hurricane Helene. But the weather improved and we rode every mile of the Windy 9, including the triple nickel.
To cap off the week, we headed to Washington DC to tour the Capitol and catch the auto train home out of Lorton, Virginia.
