The USAF Viper Demo Team tearing up the sky at the JB Charleston Air Show. Shot on Saturday April 28.
The F-16C Fighting Falcon, affectionately known as the Viper, is the premier 4th generation multi-role fighter in service today. It performs missions both in the fighter and strike roll, and is in service for 30 countries around the world. The F-16 Viper Demo Team is one of 4 major Air Force Demonstration teams coordinated by Air Combat Command. The pilot for the demonstration is Maj. John "Rain" Waters.
The F-16 performed at both the Joint Base Charleston Air Show and Wings Over Myrtle Beach. The Viper Demo at Myrtle Beach was supposed to include the heritage flight, but due to the addition at Charleston, this did not occur. The F-16 was initially sent to Charleston for a heritage flight only. After the Thunderbirds cancelled, ACC approved the full demonstration. Surprise wall of fire at 3:16!
As I reviewed the footage from each demonstration, I realized I had shot a lot of junk and had a few technical problems during the Myrtle Beach demo. Unfortunately, the files have corrupted and are unable to be used in movie maker. I have tried numerous times to make the video, and all have failed. I am only uploading the Viper Demo from Charleston.
Thanks for watching, and enjoy! :)
