Sometimes people ask how often I condition my bags. No straight answer, really. It depends on the type of bags, the material, the coating on the leather, and the humidity in my room. I have a humidity meter in my room to know when to condition my bags more often. For this video, I conditioned my Celeste Hobo bag from Go Forth Goods. Even though the bag was quite new and I had only used it a few times, the leather felt dry, a little dull, and lacked luster. Because this was full-grain leather and considered how dry it felt, I used heavier leather balm like Chamberlain's Leather milk to condition the bag.
