We were sitting at the counter of Foodland having breakfast this morning when a young blonde kid stepped up on a chair to reach the counter and place his order. He spoke perfect Thai to the staff.
We struck up a conversation all in Thai and he spoke just like any other Thai kid would. As we spoke, it became apparent that he spoke fluent Mandarin too.
