Edens Zero (stylized as EDENS ZERO) is a Japanese science fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima. It has been serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine since June 2018, with its chapters collected into twenty-one tankōbon volumes as of June 2022.
Shiki Granbell is a human Ether Gear user who lives among robots on the planet Granbell, a deserted theme park world in the Sakura Cosmos. One day, the park is visited by two space traveling B-Cubers – Rebecca Bluegarden and her robotic cat companion Happy – whom Shiki befriends while they are recording videos for their online account, Aoneko Channel. After the park's robots force them off the planet to save Shiki from being stranded before their batteries die, the three set out to explore the universe by searching for Mother, the fabled goddess of the cosmos. In the process, Shiki acquires the interstellar warship Edens Zero as inheritance from his grandfather figure, the mechanical Demon King Ziggy, who captained the ship during a previous voyage for Mother.
Ziggy is the main antagonist of the manga/anime series Edens Zero. He was the original Demon King of the Sakura Cosmos, ruling over the Granbell Kingdom as its king. He was also the captain of the warship, the Edens Zero and the creator of the Four Shining Stars. Originally a kind and compassionate robot, Ziggy raised Shiki under his care as his grandson and taught him his philosophical views of the universe around them, to form and value strong friendships with others.
Believed to have been long deceased, he was later revived by unknown means and has remained in the deserted Granbell Kingdom. However, instead of being the kind man he once was, he became a cold-hearted man that has abandoned his views and the people that considered him his family. He is now determined on destroying humanity and to create a universe ruled by mechanical life forms. He now captains the newly established Edens One, with the Four Dark Stars replacing his original crew.
Over the years, Ziggy managed to grew powerful enough that he was officially acknowledged to be a part of the Oración Seis Galáctica. During his battle with Shiki on the planet Lenard, he is revealed to be Shiki Granbell himself from 20,000 years into the future.

One Piece (stylized in all caps) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 1997, with its individual chapters compiled into 102 tankōbon volumes as of April 2022. The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy whose body gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit. With his pirate crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the deceased King of the Pirates Gol D. Roger's ultimate treasure known as the "One Piece" in order to become the next King of the Pirates.
The series focuses on Monkey D. Luffy, a young man made of rubber, whom, inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Red-Haired Shanks, sets off on a journey from the East Blue Sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the King of the Pirates. In an effort to organize his own crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy rescues and befriends a pirate hunter and swordsman named Roronoa Zoro, and they head off in search of the titular treasure. They are joined in their journey by Nami, a money-obsessed thief and navigator; Usopp, a sniper and compulsive liar; and Sanji, a perverted but chivalrous cook. They acquire a ship, the Going Merry, and engage in confrontations with notorious pirates of the East Blue. As Luffy and his crew set out on their adventures, others join the crew later in the series, including Tony Tony Chopper, an anthropomorphized reindeer doctor; Nico Robin, an archaeologist and former Baroque Works assassin; Franky, a cyborg shipwright; Brook, a skeleton musician and swordsman; and Jimbei, a fish-man helmsman and former member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. Once the Going Merry is damaged beyond repair, Franky builds the Straw Hat Pirates a new ship, the Thousand Sunny, Together, they encounter other pirates, bounty hunters, criminal organizations, revolutionaries, secret agents, and soldiers of the corrupt World Government, and various other friends and foes, as they sail the seas in pursuit of their dreams.
Monkey D. Luffy, also known as " Straw Hat Luffy" and commonly as "Straw Hat", is the main protagonist of the manga and anime, One Piece. He is the founder and captain of the increasingly infamous and powerful Straw Hat Pirates, as well as one of its top fighters. His lifelong dream is to become the Pirate King by finding the legendary treasure left behind by the late Gol D. Roger. He believes that being the Pirate King means having the most freedom in the world.
