For more than forty years, American filmmaker Ken Burns and his collaborators have produced and directed some of the most acclaimed historical documentaries which chronicle American history and culture. To honour his birthday, PBS America is dedicating a day of programming to his work with three classic documentaries: Horatio’s Drive, Lewis & Clark: The Journey of the Corps of Discovery and The Statue of Liberty.
