on May 7th 2022. Top Fuel drag race. before the race started, an incident of the engine exploded. Thank God no one died but injuries. Ambulance was there and took care of injured staff.

A message from Jim's Reed Racing Team put statement on social media next day:-
Thank you for your messages of concern for everyone that was
around the race car on the start line. Our crew has been checked by medical staff. Four crew members have been released from hospital & a fifth crew member needs further treatment on his hand & should make a full recovery.
Thank you to everyone who helped us in this unforeseen situation, we sincerely appreciate it.
