The Old Radio Site Trail is a short 4WD spur off the Badger Valley Loop Trail. It ends at an abandoned RF radio site with some outstanding views of the Pahranagat Valley.
The purpose of the radio site is unknown. Maybe a monitoring station from the 1950's nuclear tests?
Keep an eye out for game as this region is known for its bighorn sheep population!
This short trail is worth a detour just for the amazing views you will be greeted with when you reach the second ridge.
