Seen here is a ride on a N train, operated by R68A, bound for Times Square-42nd Street, via local in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Due to track replacement along the Sea Beach line, Manhattan bound N trains were rerouted over the D line to 36 Street, making all D train stops. Passengers who want bypassing stations, should with transfer at 62nd Street or at 36 Street for a Coney Island bound N train.
Also, Manhattan bound N trains ran local because of track maintenance in Brooklyn, so we ended up making a few stops until we made it to the Manhattan Bridge to resume service to Manhattan.
Also, there were no N train service due to Accessibility improvements going on at Queensboro Plaza, as well as tunnel work along 60th Street. N train service was split into two sections:
1. Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue via D line to Times Square-42nd Street.
2. Astoria-Ditmars Blvd to Queensboro Plaza.
Passengers who want to go into Queens, would have to take the 7 train to Queensboro Plaza to transfer to a N train to Ditmars Blvd.
I wasn’t able to catch it coming into the station, so instead, I just caught it and take it up to Times Square, where it would be relayed up to 49 Street and crossover back to the other side.
Enjoy!
