Many of my viewers have reached out to ask how to buy exotic cars like the ones I have owned. I admit that I didn't know much about how to buy an exotic car when I bought my first one. I had the unique opportunity to come on the Genau Autowerks rally, Drive Toward A Cure to raise money for Parkinson's Disease, as a guest of Jay from Chasing The Apex. Jay and I had done some remote video collaborations in the past but this was the first time I spent time in a car with him and I was excited to be here. I met him at his residence in the San Francisco California Bay Area and we started the rally with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Our route took us through Sausalito, Muir Beach, Woodville, Five Brooks, Point Reyes Station, Inverness Park, Old St. Mary's Church at Rancho Nicasio, and Petaluma to The Racer's Group race shop and winery. The rally was filled with amazing cars, awesome roads and great people. Jay's 2015 Porsche Cayman GT4 was a great car to rally in when driving through the California hills and canyons. And getting to meet Bill Eason from Eason Auto Works and being able to admire his rare 1988 Porsche 930 Turbo Slant Nose WidowMaker was a special treat. We rallied through the twisty bits of road in Northern California until we reached our destination. Special thanks to Ingo from Genau Autowerks for hosting us with superb hospitality.
