A whopping 20 minutes of action from the British Racing & Sports Car Club's TCR race weekend on the Donington Park National circuit. Along with the TCR championship, we had supports from the array of MX5 championships, City Car Cup, Fiesta Juniors, Clubsport Trophy and the Fun Cup. Wheel to wheel action from beginning to end of each and every race is always a sign of a good weekend, unfortunately this time around it seemed to provide more red flags than you can shake a stick at... The Sunday saw us run over the 7 o'clock 'curfew' just because we were so far behind schedule; the poor club couldn't catch a break with more and more issues/stoppages every single race. But as per usual, in what was almost unbearable heat, the Marshals and circuit teams did a brilliant job clearing up everything as quickly and safely as possible, bravo to you all.
Thankfully the driver of the number 272 Fiesta Junior, Jenson O'Neill Going, was okay after a pretty violent roll down the Crainer Curves. A real testament to the build of that car to be able to walk away from a shunt like that!
