The Ouarzazate region offers, in addition to the natural beauty of its landscape, the most beautiful and fascinating Berber architecture: the kasbahs, the citadels made out of red clay which are the last vestiges of a glorious past and exceptional architectural heritage.
The most famous of these citadels is Aït Ben Haddou and it's where our cameras made their first stop, just before heading to the High Atlas to meet the Ait Atta people, the last nomad shepherd of the region.
