Part two (final part) of this project involves: converting the 2 axis CNC plotter into an Arduino Nano based laser engraver/cutter, Shielding the laser with a custom acrylic enclosure, building a 555 based pulse driver for the laser, and adding additional buttons and functions to allow for tray loading, homing, and adjusting the laser. G-code is generated using Inkscape and sent over USB using the Google Chrome “Gcode sender” plugin.
this uses the NEJE DK-1000 405nm 1000mw 5v laser
