Everyone likes to train hard, but not everyone can do that SAFELY.
What I mean by that is, there are times when hard training is simply draining - NOT gaining.
The solution?
Find movements that allow you to push yourself without nudging you off a cliff and into loads of soreness, deep fatigue, and lethargy for days at a time.
Enter...heavy gait pattern movements!
If you're gonna train hard, it only makes sense to pick movements that hit every conceivable nook, cranny, crevice, and corner of your Soft Machine, and do so in a way that doesn't require a lot of complicated technique or razor-thin margin for error.
To that end, I highly recommended "triple loaded carries".
It involves doing farmers carries while wearing a weight vest AND dragging some weights behind you. As you can see, you don't even need a sled (although I'd recommend one), and even if you don't have a weight vest, two out of three ain't bad.
Give these a shot and let me know how you like 'em.
Also:
If you like the feeling you get from training your gait pattern to get you brute strong in short order, might I suggest my 9-Minute Kettlebell & Bodyweight Challenge?
It consists of several simple, no BS gait-pattern focused moves (such as crawling, loaded carries, and more) and even cooler it's designed to COMPLEMENT your training, NOT complicate it - and that means you can do it right alongside your regular workouts, either right before or directly afterward.
And as the name implies, it'll only take a paltry 9 minutes to do it. You've got 9 minutes to get stronger, fitter, and more resilient, don't you?
