This is a demonstration of the Starline S9 alarm system fitted to this Citroen Relay on this installation we also added electronic controlled internal deadbolts to the side and rear doors.
These are activated when the van central locking operated and they will only disengage when the vans central locking is operated and the Starline secure tag is also present, in the absence of the tag the deadbolts will not retract from the door.
This is the second level of authorisation that means that the van is attacked with a cloned key a spare key or the locks are picked. The internal deadbolts will not disengage as long as the Starline tag is out of range.
The alarm also has a pin to drive system meaning that after the alarm is disarmed and the vehicle is entered it will not start or run without a sequence being entered on the vehicles existing steering wheel buttons or dash button.
The system also has the front proximity sensor, which when the alarm is armed, it will detect movement outside of the vehicle near the glazed area of the cabin.
The front proximity sensor can be disabled several ways in case the vehicle is parked in a very busy area. You can disable it by pressing the button once before you leave the vehicle via texting to the Vans phone number, you can also disable it via the app with the button that we have written which sits inside the app was a native button, when you do disable the proximity sensor via one of these methods will stay disabled for the entire duration of the day meaning that you can enter the vehicle several times disarm it and the proximity will stay disabled.
It is automatically enabled when vehicles started and ready to drive to your next location meaning that you don’t have to remember to reactivate it meaning your vehicle is always protected when moved onto another location is not so busy.
We have fitted an extra shock sensor in the rear of the vehicle. This is to increase the protection on the back door and the side door does have a shock sensor built-in with triggering system but on large vans, this can be weakened near the rear of the vehicle simply due to the fact, the distance the shock will have to travel to the ECU.
These inputs shock sensors, proximity sensors system tailored to suit commercial vehicles. Starlight has a motion sensor. It also has a tilt sensor which will pick up the vehicle being jacked up attempt to steal the wheels.
The system also has an Anti HiJack system which will disable the vehicle in motion safely under a speed of 30 km when this hijack system is enabled the vehicle will be ignored to be ignored so even if the thief had the thief had forced you to tell you the pin number when the anti Hijack is activated blocks all of these and cannot be restarted or recovered
The system is disarmed using the emergency disarm code which is a four digit pin which is written on the owners warranty card.
The system is armed every time you lock the van with the manufacture remote and disarmed seamlessly when you unlock the van with the manufacturer remote and the tag is present or by unlocking it by pressing the tag, in this instance we have wired into the manufacturer locking system enable to be able to unlock remotely anywhere in the world where the vehicle has GSM coverage.
