Each summer The Wilson invites artists into the museum to take over a gallery, as an artist in residence. This year, we felt it was more important than ever to give 6 local artists a platform to exhibit their work and engage with local audiences. We have revised the traditional format for the residencies so they can take place safely form the artists home or studio, yet still have a presence within the gallery when The Wilson reopens in 2021, in the form of a group show.
