You'll have to excuse all the random video angles and shaky clips, I had three different people standing in different spots on the track taking videos and they all turned out a little bit rough. I'll have to use my GoPro next time.
After the very bad pull at Rough & Tumble last week, as well as last year's 4-H Fair disaster when the JD 210 transaxle failed halfway down the track, I needed to redeem myself. The 210 now has a rebuilt transaxle and a couple small performance add-on's. At this year's 4-H Fair I finally got a chance to mess around with my weight setup and get some good practice pulling. I borrowed a wheelie bar from the flagman (the Deere mechanic who rebuilt the transaxle in my 210), and I used every weight I could find.
There were two pulls during the 4 days of the fair. I ran the Cub Cadet 129 in a couple exhibition pulls both nights just for fun, but I wasn't expecting much from it because it's hydrostatic. The 210, on the other hand, pulled really strong despite a few carburetor problems.
The first night, I pulled in the 950, 1050, and 1150-lb weight class. Won first place in the 1150-lb class and won third place in both the 950- and 1050-lb classes. The second night, I ran the same three classes plus the 1250 class, and brought home a second place finish in the 1050-lb class. Not bad for two (mostly) stock tractors. Enjoy!
