$300 doesn't buy you much in the pro audio world, and all it will get you at your local big box store is a cheap, gimmicky plastic speaker. However, the Club-2000 column speaker system from PRORECK is a surprisingly well-built, great-sounding system that can be had for 3 bills. It's got a really robust cabinet, modern design, and sound quality that is above the level expected at this price. While the subwoofer can hit the limit a little early sometimes, for certain situations (wedding receptions, solo musicians, house parties, intimate gigs) this is a great low-cost sound option.
