On December 1 each year, World AIDS Day reminds us that the HIV epidemic is not yet over and that HIV/AIDS continues to affect millions of people globally. Though HIV infection cannot be cured, it can be prevented and treated by strengthening patients' primary health care. This day is an opportunity to celebrate and support the global efforts to prevent new HIV infections, and let us be the community that makes the difference!
