We made this video to show you what to expect if you're flying in or out of the Tirana Airport in Albania.

To get from Tirana city center to the Tirana Airport you can take the airport bus. It departs from this location near Skanderbeg Square and costs 400 Lek per person: [ Ссылка ]

You can take the same bus from the Tirana Airport to Tirana city center and it will drop you off at this same place near Skanderbeg Square.

You can also take a taxi to or from the Tirana Airport which should cost 2000-2500 Lek depending on the time of day. From the airport be sure to take an official airport taxi or you might get overcharged like we did!

You can buy a local SIM card at the Tirana Airport from the One or Vodafone shops there. We used One SIM cards during our time in Albania and found that they were affordable and had great service throughout the country.

There is a KFC and another sit-down restaurant just outside the terminal. There is a cafe, a gelato and sweets shop, a small grocery store, a souvenir shop, and a money exchange place inside the Tirana Airport.
