A tragic incident took 11 lives when a building collapsed over another building last evening after heavy rains in Mumbai where 8 among the 11 were children and the youngest one was 3 years old among the casualties reported. Mumbai police checked the structure and found multiple changes were done to the building that collapsed and was illegal, to begin with, on the other hand, it was reported that the building even suffered multiple damages during the cyclone Tauktae for which the repair was done but it seems it was not enough. For now, the owner and the contractor had been arrested for culpable homicide but a lot of blame game has started between BMC and District collector.
