Today we will be focusing on sweeping techniques, and I will give you a cool exercise that will help you develop your sweeping further.
Although we need perfect coordination from both hands, typically the problems in sweeping occur with the left hand.
We will use the familiar shape of a major arpeggio, but we are only going to use our left hand to trigger the notes. The key is to make every note equal in value.
Our left hand usually struggles with rhythm and that's what this exercise focuses on timing and accuracy, so you can have better coordination for your sweeping ideas.
