ROWLETT, TEXAS - Severe storms moved into eastern portions of the Dallas metro area impacting the Rowlett and Rockwall areas on Monday evening after the solar eclipse. After considerable tagging was placed on the severe thunderstorm warning, warning sirens were activated in the area for the potential of destructive hail.
1. Impressive cloud structure as the severe storm moves into Rowlett, TX
2. Heavy rains and wind begin as weather sirens sound on SR-66 just east of town.
3. Big hail begins to fall at the Shell fuel station on the east side of Rowlett on SR-66.
