Hyundai Motor has recalled about 470－thousand cars sold in the United States due to engine defects.
Reports in the U.S. say Sonata midsize sedans from the 2011 and 2012 model years equipped with two－liter or two－point－four－liter gasoline engines are subject to the recall.
They said small pieces of metal left in the crank shaft during the manufacturing process could cause the engine to stop while driving.
Plus，... in an expansion of a recall issued in 2013，... Hyundai also is recalling nearly 100－thousand Accent small cars because the brake lights can fail.
