Transformers the Movie may have seen the death of Starscream, but he proved harder to finish off than that. With appearances in Season 3 of the cartoon as a ghost, he also entered the Beast Wars and possessed Waspinator. In the Transformers BWVS-08 Ghost Starscream vs. Haunted Waspinator 2-Pack, we get an homage to that entertaining episode, called “Possession.” Captain Kyle reviews the set to see if you want it haunting your collection.
Starscream was destroyed by Galvatron in Transformers the Movie, but his ghost appeared in Season 3 of the Generation One cartoon to cause all kinds of trouble for both Autobots and Decepticons alike. He even managed to get his old body back from Unicron. But his resurrection was short-lived, and he became a ghost once again. He ended up traveling to the world of Beast Wars, where he possessed the Predacon Waspinator and worked with a new Megatron to fight the Maximals. Of course, he intended to betray this Megatron as well, but ended up being scared away. This Beast Wars set pays homage to that episode and Captain Kyle examines these toys thoroughly to see if the ghost stories are true.
