We took another homeschool field trip to our nation's capital, Washington, DC. We spent the day meandering the city on an incredibly hot day.
We are country folk and while we enjoy DC as a whole, one of our very favorite things to do is enjoy a ride on the metro. Where we come from, there is no public transportation of any kind so it's a pretty big deal to take on their subway system.
