Cynthia Erivo nailed her response to Dax Shepard’s “inappropriate” question about how she maintains proper hygiene with extra-long nails.

“Can I ask you a really crazy question that’s inappropriate?” Shepard asked during Monday’s episode of his “Armchair Expert” podcast.

“When you’re wiping your butt…,” Shepard went on, before the “Wicked” star interjected, “I knew you would ask that question.”“My answer is that nobody uses just their fingers to wipe their backside,” the actress, 37, explained. “You use tissue, correct? And you wipe!”

However, Shepard, 49, continued to press Erivo on the placement of the toilet paper in her hand, asking whether she uses the “tips of the fingernails.”
