❌ Footwear has become very focused on flash and style but not function. Our feet are so important for our health and how many shoes are actually shaped like feet? It’s sort of like if we wore tight gloves all day right? That would be bad for our hands! Well most of the population is doing the same with their feet! Way too much cushion and tight toe boxes make it impossible for your feet to be strong and this affects everything up the chain like knee, hip, low back, or even shoulder issues! This has got to stop!

🔑 The key here is that with some simple exercises and just by wearing footwear that actually resembles your feet like @vivobarefoot you can increase your foot strength by up to 60% within 6 months! 1️⃣ Toe Drops: lift all of your toes up, then slowly lower them down starting with the little toe 1 by 1. The slower you do this the better. This will help train the muscles of your feet that get very little attention, especially if shoved in an over-cushioned foot coffin all day!
