The Vijayawada city police commissioner Tirumala Rao addressed the media after a major bust in Andhra Pradesh on April 2. The police successfully tracked down and arrested a dangerous gang of armed robbers operating in Vijayawada. The police seized an amount of Rs 1.3 crore in unaccounted cash from the gang. In addition, ten smartphone devices were confiscated from the gang. The police will investigate the devices to find out more about the gang’s operations.
