Before the new VeggieTales series, "The VeggieTales Show" was released, it was announced that David Man would be replacing Phil Vischer as the voice of Mr. Nezzer, who had been voicing the character from 1995 through 2014.
Mr. Nezzer in "The VeggieTales Show" has normally been reserved to small cameos, usually having only one small appearance per episode. However, in the episode "Forgiveness Brings the Fixing", Mr. Nezzer was voiced by Phil Vischer instead of David Mann. Outside of a brief scream in an earlier episode, this is the only instance of Mr. Nezzer being voiced by Phil in the show thus far. Whether or not Phil or David Mann will continue to be the voice of Mr. Nezzer is unclear, but this is a very interesting occurence.
UPDATE January 3, 2021:
According to a tweet by Phil Vischer on Twitter, he had voiced Mr. Nezzer for a few episodes of the series because David Mann was unavailable to do so. How many more episodes Phil will voice the character has yet to be seen.
