Gabrielle Ferrara shares how she advocates for mental health in various ways, especially in her professional work with individuals with eating disorders and OCD. Gabrielle Ferrara, MSW, LSW is a Licensed Social Worker in New Jersey. Gabrielle currently works in private practice and sees clients through the Lukin Center for Psychotherapy. Gabrielle specializes in eating disorders, OCD, and navigating life transitions. Gabrielle earned her B.A. in 2018 from the University of Miami where she majored in Psychology and Criminology and then went on to attend Rutgers University, where she earned her Master of Social Work degree with a clinical focus. Gabrielle is a passionate advocate for all-things mental health and compliments her direct clinical work in different ways, such as her involvement with the National Alliance for Eating Disorders, where she is a support group facilitator. Gabrielle has been featured as a guest on mental health podcasts and has had writing published on The Mighty and Psychology Today.
