Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's love for films has not gone down well with the opposition. The BJP has hit out at Kejriwal for watching the new releases in high-end theatres along with his family and team. BJP members have put up hoardings in the city questioning Kejriwal's "common man" image, which he tried to sell to people of Delhi before the assembly election. In the hoardings, BJP members have questioned Kejriwal for watching movie in PVR Director's Cut along with a photograph of the CM and his team in the hall. "While asking for votes, he had said that he is a common man. Now, why is he watching movies in such high-end theatres where the cost of ticket is Rs 100-1500? He is no longer a common man," said Anil Sharma, former BJP MLA from RK Puram, who has put up hoardings in his area. "Dilli ka common man ban gaya gentleman" reads the hoarding. "This just shows a bankruptcy of ideas. He has watched just one movie in Director's Cut. He was invited for the special screening by the director," said a senior AAP member.
