To operate the power moonroof, place the ignition in the ON position.

To open the moonroof, push this switch toward the OPEN position. To close it, push the switch toward CLOSE.

To partially open or close the moonroof, push the switch in either direction while it is moving, to stop it in the desired position.

To tilt the moonroof up, first close the moonroof then push the switch to the TILT UP position and release it.

To tilt it down, push the switch to the TILT DOWN position. Open and close the sunshade by sliding it forward or backwards. If you've turned the ignition OFF and notice the moonroof is open, you still have a period of time in which to close it. However, if either front door is opened during that period, power to the moonroof is cancelled. If the moonroof does not operate properly, perform the following procedure to initialize the moonroof:
1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Press and hold the moonroof tilt switch forward until the moonroof stops.
3. Release the moonroof switch.
4. Press and hold the tilt up switch within 6 seconds.
5. The roof glass will Tilt-Down, Slide-Close, Slide-Open, Slide-Close, Tilt-Up, Tilt-Down.
6. Release the switch. Initialization is complete if the moonroof operates normally. If it doesn't operate normally, see your NISSAN dealer for service.
