Launch of the Asian Economic Integration Report 2016: What Drives Foreign Direct Investment in Asia and the Pacific? in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
ERCD presented the AEIR 2016 in an event co-organized with KARM and IWEP on 9 December in Almaty. KARM CD Giovanni Capanelli provided an overview of ADB's role in Central Asia and chaired the panel discussion. ERCI's Jong Woo Kang and Fahad Khan presented the report's findings to over 50 participants from government agencies, research institutes, and private sector.
