The Indian Pacific Wheel Race is a solo, unsupported, bike race coast-to-coast across Australia on sealed roads. With no prizes, there's nothing but honour at stake in a huge bikepacking showdown across Australia.
The 2017 race will start on 18 Mar 2017 and run from Fremantle to Sydney. The course does not follow the fastest route across Australia - we have a particular adventure in mind for the racers. The course includes a number of distinct sectors with very different characteristics. In this clip we give some tips on the conditions that riders can expect.
