Really wanted to start learning sound design and to stop relying on presets all the time so i figured i'd give this cover a go and hopefully cultivate some skills along the way. The song itself felt a bit out of my league in terms of production, so it pushed me a bit out of my comfort zone.
The intro plucks, pads, bass and leads were all made in serum, and i use FL Studios as my DAW.
The footage is from the new-ish Super Gore Nest Master Level from DOOM Eternal, on Nightmare of course. I'm not a particularily skilled player, so you'll see me spamming the SSG, Balista and Rocket Launcher a lot.
I would've included footage from Quake 2, but DOOM was just more conventient to record. Descent Into Cerberon was also used as a collectible in DOOM Eternal, so i feel it's justified.
Anyway i hope you enjoy my rendition of Ascend In Testosterone... i mean Descent Into Cerberon!
