Stage 1 - The Divorce application is sent to the Court. This can be done online or by post. 
Stage 2 – The court will send a copy of the divorce application to your spouse who must respond within 14 days. 
Stage 3 – You enter into a 20-week cooling off period. During this time you can resolve any financial or children issues .
Stage 4 - After 20 weeks, you can apply for the Conditional Order to be issued.
