The Jackson County Legislature has overturned executive Frank White's veto that would have prevented a special election to renew a sales tax that would fund stadiums for the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs. With the override, voters in Jackson County will now have the opportunity to choose on April 2. It was a 7-2 vote.
