For scooter use, The 12mm version fits Lambretta J-range, Luna and many 50cc and 70cc automatic scooters.The 16mm version fits most Lambretta and large frame Vespa pistons. The 18mm verison is for engines that have a motorcycle pisotn conversion with an 18mm gudgeon (wrist) pin size.
