몬테네그로 당국 "미국이 한국보다 먼저 권도형 인도 청구"
On to the latest updates on the crypto fugitive Do Kwon.
According to Montenegrin authorities, the U.S. filed a request to extradite disgraced Terraforms Lab CEO Do Kwon before South Korea.
This was made possible as the U.S. has an embassy in Montenegro, whereas South Korea does not.
The justice minister said that the extradition decision will be based on a number of factors, including the person's nationality as well as the date in which the request was filed.
Kwon will be extradited after he serves a sentence for passport forgery, meaning his extradition process can take some time which ever country he is sent to.
