I spotted this old surplus APC (armored personnel carrier) at the Pro Gun Club in Boulder City, Nevada during SHOT show 2017.
Would you use it as a bug out vehicle in a SHTF event? After all its diesel powered so you could use any diesel that you might find sitting in an 18 wheeler that has been abandoned and trapped on highway roads.
It can carry 12 people +1 driver so your whole family can ride in it. Plus their gear.
Its tracked so it can roll over almost any surface even sand...and its amphibious! It floats on water!!!
Its armored so it can survive small arms gun fire that would be prevalent with street thugs who are raiding homes.
But its loud and slow and is a gas guzzler...and probably has a limited range unless you are carrying spare gas cans?
