This is one of the first dim sum recipes that tried to learn to cook many many years ago. Just getting the texture and taste similar to the dim sum restaurant was difficult. After countless attempts, I finally discover the secrets to perfecting this dim sum spare rib recipe!
Ingredients:
1 lb pork ribs
1 tbsp Chinese fermented black soybeans
0.5 tsp of Chicken Buillion Powder
1 Small Clove of Garlic
2 tsp sugar
1.5 tsp salt
1 tsp Shaoxing wine
1 tsp Sesame oil
1/8 tsp ground white pepper
2 tbsp cornstarch
Sodium Carbonate Instructions:
1/2 cup of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and bake at 300 F for at least 1 hr. Store away in an airtight can.
