In this video I talk about my beloved Jetboil and why I now only use this for day hikes. For winter trails and longer backpacking trips I am swapping over to the Soto Amicus Stove and River Pot Combo Set.
Likes and Dislikes:-
* Love the height of the packed combo set, it is much smaller than the Jetboile.
* I don't like the lid and wish it fitted better.
* I love that it fits a Sea to Summitt mug, not just the cup.
* I love that it can house adventure foods actually in the pot - unlike the Jetboil
* It's not bad with the wind due to the little lip, but it is no competition for the Jetboil. The Jetboil is so much faster.
* I like the silicone handles on the pot.
* I like the way you can adjust and control the gas flow.
* Both setups allow for a 100g canister
* I really do not like the mesh bag. It is rather pathetic!
