Breaking: U.S. Deployed Aircraft Carrier In South China Sea Amid Escalating Trade Tension
There is no good news these day between the two world superpowers, the U.S. and China. After a major blow in the trade negotiation, United States on Tuesday deployed large-scale naval force sailing through the South China Sea. The sound of supersonic F/S-18 jets, spy planes and helicopters can be heard from the massive aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan. From the distance, we can see several destroyers and cruisers sailing along the Reagan in protection scheme.
Rear. Adm. Karl Thomas told journalists that "the moto of this carrier is peace through strength". What he means is that U.S. will not back down in safeguarding the freedom of navigation and the international territorial integrity in the South China Sea and its surrounding.
