Hoban, a major construction company in South Korea, has deployed a 5G private network, in collaboration with NAVER and Samsung Electronics, at its large scale apartment complex construction site. Their goal is to enable a safer and more efficient work environment through the 5G network during the duration of the project.
The 5G private network at the 41,000㎡ site, where fourteen 25-story buildings are under construction, utilizes the 4.8GHz band that is assigned for private networks in Korea.
