Ziro is a town and the district headquarters of the Lower Subansiri district in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.
The part of the town which is the centre of economic activities and where the administrative offices are located is called as Hapoli or locally known by the Apatanis as "Hao-Polyang".

Ziro is 115 km from Itanagar, 123 km from the nearest civil airport at Lilabari, 96 km from Naharlagun railway station.

Ziro Festival of Music is an outdoor music festival held in the Ziro valley in the northeast Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It showcases the independent music scene in India. The festival was founded in 2012 by Bobby Hano and Menwhopause guitarist Anup Kutty, and has featured many national and international crowd.
The festival is spread over four days and is hosted by members of the Apatani people in Ziro.
