The Death Kiss
I colorized this movie back in April 2024, and it has been quite popular. I didn't publish the 4K black-and-white version, so I decided to put this together and upload it today for New Year's Day 2025. (I'm uploading this at 2:30am on January 2nd, UK time because it took a very long time to encode).
I downloaded the original version from the archive in quite good SD condition. I upscaled it from SD to 4K using AI, with facial enhancement set to 50% and sharpening set to 5%.
The hardware I used includes an RTX 4080 GPU, a Ryzen 9 12-core AM5 CPU, and 96GB of RAM. The software leverages AI for upscaling and sharpening, with AI primarily used for facial enhancement.
