This is the 'highlights' from day 5 of our European road trip, one of the longest days travelling. We set off from last night's rest place at Domrémy-la-Pucelle, birthplace of Joan of Arc, heading down to Besançon where we will stop off at the citadel over lunch. After that we head south and across the border into Switzerland. Continuing south we eventually reach Lausanne before following Lake Geneva round to tonight's final stop in Montreux. Today was all about taking in some of the beautiful countryside along the way.
