The Heritage 100p is essentially a smaller, more affordable, version of the hugely popular Sky-Watcher Heritage-130p Flextube.
By reducing the effective aperture of a telescope you will increase focal ration. This means less glare. This way you can see more details on the planetary disks, the Moon and easily split the close binary stars. Aperture stop makes your fast telescope( with low f/ratio) into a slow one(with high f/ratio). This practically means you will have what is called a planetary telescope.
The new Heritage-100P Newtonian telescope is mounted on a compact Dobsonian base for convenient grab-and-go astronomy.
The high quality 100mm f/4 parabolic mirror-set offers excellent views of the Moon, bright planets, star clusters, bright galaxies and nebulae.
A 3/8" thread located on the base allows it to also be fitted to a suitable field tripod.
