The horse in this video has made a miraculous recovery from life-threatening tetanus thanks for extensive treatment and careful nursing after being given just a 1 in 100 chance of survival.
The vaccination which protects horses against tetanus costs around £30 and is only needed to be given once every two years. This pony's vets fees cost in the region of £3,000. Sadly another recent case was unable to be saved.
